Your BigBox Mobile storage container is water tight and air tight.

When it's closed, it's sealed! That means your belongings are protected from all the
elements rain, snow, sleet and hail. It also means that what happens in the unit beside
yours, won't affect yours. Your belongings will stay safe and sound in their own environment.
Nowhere to knock or pick a lock!
The Big Boxes are stored door to door, making it impossible to get in. No unauthorized entry here!
Don't worry, you still have access yourself: just call to set up a time for us to move your storage unit to
an accessible position with our special crane.
Video surveillance Say 'cheese' for the camera!
Just as we have surveillance cameras throughout the indoor storage facilities,
we also have them outside in our storage yard where your BigBox container will be kept.
From the office, we can see the video footage as it's streaming. And we can monitor the security cameras remotely when needed, from outside the storage complex. The digital recording also provides a continuous video record of all activity.
High security padlock: a disc that can't be slipped!
We recommend you use a high security disc padlock on your mobile self storage unit.
This type of heavy duty lock is made of corrosion resistant stainless steel.
Its special shape is designed to minimize exposure of the shackle. That means the lock cannot be cut with bolt
cutters or a hack saw. If the key is ever lost, you need a torch to cut off the padlock, or have a locksmith re-key it.
Security means... peace of mind
These high security features are your assurance that our mobile
self storage containers and storage yard are properly equipped for the kind of protection you're looking for. You can relax, knowing your
belongings are stored safely and securely in your BigBox Mobile storage unit.
P.S. Protection means more than just security
You may be wondering whether the Big Box is appropriate for storage of sensitive items like electronics. The solid steel contruction and tight seal ensure there are no quick temperature changes. This also means no moisture build-up. These are the same kinds of containers as the cargo containers that travel in ships over the ocean carrying goods from the East. All the electronics from overseas survive those environmental conditions for the many weeks it takes to transport them and keep them in storage yard until distribution. The fact that the goods arrive in the stores in perfect condition, ready for sale, is an indication of the climate protection afforded by the cargo containers.
If you are nevertheless concerned about your electronics, musical instruments and other sensitive belongings for long term storage, consider choosing climate controlled indoor storage.
Don't forget: you want to protect your belongings from scrapes and breakage, too. That kind of protection depends on how well you pack and stack your boxes, furniture, etc. Follow the helpful advice in our packing, moving and storage tips.
