Keep your car safe
When you store your vehicle in a Big Box storage unit, you get all the protection benefits of a weather-tight, solid steel container with wooden floors:
Protect your tires
Unlike concrete, which sucks the moisture out of rubber, the Big Box's wooden floors won't damage your tires.
Protect your wiring and upholstery
With the air-tight seal of the Big Box's door, there is no way for any critters to find their way into the storage space and gnaw away at your car's electrical wiring, shred your upholstery for a nest, or turn your tailpipe into a rodent residence.
Protect your auto body and finish
With the sun, wind, rain and snow kept sealed out of your storage space, you don't have to worry about moisture rusting the chassis, windblown grit scratching the finish, or ultraviolet sunrays discolouring the paint.
Keep your car secure
You have two options for where to keep your Big Box:
Store it in our secure storage yard
We keep the BigBox Mobile containers in our secure storage yard at our Ashland St. location (London ON). Our gated compound is protected by 24 hour video surveillance.
You get your own storage unit, with your own lock and key. We recommend a disc padlock for locking the door of the storage unit itself.
Store it at home
If you want your car closer at hand, you can keep the Big Box on your own premises. Of course you won't have the 24 hour surveillance unless your property is already protected in that way, but you can keep an eye on your storage unit (and your car itself) on a daily basis if you wish. Again, we recommend you use the high security disc style padlock.
"What kind of vehicle can I store in the Big Box?"
The Big Box storage containers are 8' wide by 20' long and 8' in height. Any vehicle that fits into that space can be stored in the Big Box. When measuring, remember to allow for space for you to open the door and get out of the vehicle once you've driven it into the unit!
Sorry, we don't have any Big Boxes large enough for RV storage at the moment.
